My part isn't really the kind to be split up for an ongoing joke, but we'll see once its finished. These last few seconds include a very hard thing to animate. Making water effects look realistic is not easy.

Also, Faltaviva just Pmed me back saying he'll give his answer by the end of this month, on whether or not he'll make a part.

Now I need you to tell me the problems with it. Watching it over in the eyes of a generic viewer, I would say it's too quiet. But I honestly can't think of any other sounds except when Leon thinks to himself in the thinking clouds. I probably should put in some pop sounds when they dissappear. The ending is also abrupt, but if I were to animate Del Lago any further, it would look very odd. Also, this is the easter egg that the part is based on:

Not perfect sounds, but after a lot of searching they were the best I could find. Tell me what I should change.

Also, I've been doing some more checking around for inspiration on an RE2 part. I still don't have anything but I won't give up. I'll get to work on it once I have something planned.

Also remember that whenever you make any video game parody, Youtube also offers Video Game Soundtracks allowing you to take background music and put it in your flash. Here's an example of one:

Do you think I should Pm Greensinge and Peglay about this? If they see another part finished they might be more focused on making theirs.

Dante does a lot of things in flash but I don't think he's forgotten this yet. As far as I know, PurpleFridge isn't in this if he hasn't said anything. And FaltaViva should give his answer in the next few days.

Also, I thought up an idea for an RE2 part. It's about Leon being a really bad cop.

Yes, another part involving Leon, but I tried hard to think of something with somebody else, but I couldn't. The part is mainly based off the first cutscene of the game playing as Leon (you have a choice to play as Leon or Claire with their different stories), and I actually think it's funny. Unlike that part I just made, this one will include voice acting with good dialogue. And I will be using the same version of Leon I made, but with red hair like he had in RE2 and of course the police uniform.

I have the whole thing in my head, and it will be a very comedic part. But I have a lot of school and personal matters to attend to these next few weeks. But you can expect it done before the end of my Winter Break on January 5. I still can't wait to work on it though.

That sucks about Dante. You'll have to take his name off the list. Now there's only four of us still officially in this. Do you think we should make a thread about this in the flash forums for people to join? The idea of a private collab sounded cool, but I have seen it done, and I have seen it done badly.

Honestly, unless there will be at least eight parts between the few of us, we'll need more people. I agreed to making two parts and that is what I will do now.

I know I've been pestering about this for a long time but it's a serious matter. I don't want to see this finish in the summer of 2009, or worse, roll over and die because of these problems.

Christmas is coming, we will have the time to animate. People will finish their Christmas movies and look for something else to do. I'm just saying that you should think about it.

Simply because the background music should not be as loud as a 100 foot long lake monster screaming in your face. This is a final version of this part unless somebody suggests I change something. Otherwise, I'm ready to send the fla. file when you say so.

Also, I made a logo animation that goes great for my own movies, but I won't have it in this unless two other people make one. Because I don't want mine by itself as if I was the main leader behind this collab or something.

Lastly, FaltaViva still hasn't responded. A few days ago, I sent a message asking for his answer. We'll see what happens.

Nothing special, but I can't find any fitting sound for that flash in it. And I've had around four different projects to work on these past few weeks and only one left to do. Still one week of school for me, then Winter Break.

Tests? You lucky-ass, in my school the teachers beleive in projects instead. Projects that are incredibly hard to follow. I was given only a few weeks to make an 8 minute long documentary on Genghis Khan (we got to choose who) using Windows Movie Maker. And I procrastinate a lot.

God I hate projects. They were fun in elementary but now they're assholes and are hard to get a good grade on. With tests, all you need to do is memorize your own study guide. Easy As.

Yeah...I've just been really pissed lately, but it'll all be over at the end of this week. By the way, you need to take Dante's name off that list of people who joined.

And one more thing to bring up for the eighth or so time. Should we make a thread about this collab in the Flash Forums?

Listen Prime, I don't think this collab is going to work out. It's not going anywhere. All that I see coming from this collab is every individual part being submitted to the Portal because the collab died. Sorry, but I think it's better we stop before anymore effort is wasted.

My suggestion is that at some day, we submit all parts individually as a collab that never made it. I actually like my part, and would rather it not be wasted.

The Resident Evil Collab 2 probably was never meant to be. Though maybe some of us would find each other again in another collab. Then that collab would most certainly become lucky and prosperous.
